Jean-Jacques Dordain appointed Advisor to CNES President
Jean-Jacques Dordain, whose term as ESA Director General ended yesterday, was today appointed Advisor to CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall.
CNES will benefit from Mr Dordain’s analysis of the seismic shifts the space sector is undergoing, with the fast pace of political, environmental and social change, the advent of increasingly ‘smart’ machines and ‘big data’ technologies, and more broadly current revolutions in the world of space.
Mr Dordain will also bring CNES his vision of the impacts these changes are likely to have on our space policy, particularly with respect to ground-breaking technologies, new goals and how they will be pursued.
